One Voice, United in Advocating for all Children with Disabilities
ESE Parents and Advocates was formed as a result of the Pinellas County Florida School Assignment Plan. Thanks to a common aquaintance, Katherine Diaz and John King were introduced and decided to join together to provide a voice for our kids. They felt that there were many commonalities across the special needs spectrum in regards to the educational needs of the children. They believed that they might be able to better work with the school board as ESE policies were being drafted if they could pull together the needs and concerns of parents and advocates from the different special needs groups and presemt them to the school board as one unified voice.
Unite the numerous special needs groups, gather concerns and issues related to the education of the children and work with the school board to come up with solutions that benefit all.
